Who is this tutoring for?
This if for any parents that want their children to do unique things. To be able to choose what they're pursuing, to have parental influence directly over the content, for their children to learn classic and modern skills including rhetoric, writing, negotiation, and project management.
What kinds of things do you help with?
The subject can be anything. Schools are factories for producing children that can function in a certain way. That's not the same as education. Children will learn how to choose a subject, make a proposal, do the project, make a report and a presentation.
Is this only for struggling students?
Many people only look for help when their child is struggling. Really, everyone should rather look to help their child flourish. Obviously if a kid is struggling I can help with that. If a child doesn't seem to be struggling, then we can take them to even greater heights.
Do you tutor in person or online?
We can do online video sessions, and documentation online as well.

What is the cost?
For 200 dollars per week we'll have two one hour sessions per week, along with messaging at other times, and updates for the parents through online documentation.
Does Jeff have a teaching certification?
I've passed the Praxis test for US and world history, Praxis being the most popular teaching certification company in the US. I have a TESOL certification from Arizona State University for teaching English as a second language. I have a BA in philosophy, and a MSc in public policy and management. These are not the important things. The Praxis exam is really just a trivia test. What's actually important is how we can help your child to succeed.
Can this type of tutoring replace school?
Yes, we'll pursue what the student and parent choose.
Can this tutoring be used in addition to regular homeschooling?
Yes, they fit together well.
Can this tutoring be done while a student is also going to school?
Yes, we can use the tutoring to enhance what the student is learning, or to balance out their perspective with more impact and influence from the parents.
